23rd September 2015 Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: 1-2 foot fetch and chop Air Temperature: 14 Sea Temperature: 15 Weather: haze sun then drizzle Max Speed: 26.1 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 21.2 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Windier than I expected to well maxed on 115/6m. Good fun blasting and a lightweight joined me on 5.7m which overpowered him a bit. I would have been better on 5.3m. Good fun blasting to sandbank which was still well covered at low leap. Seaflat in short sections when sail ran out of power. 36cm fin was too big in chop so after hour changed to 28cm which coincided with drizzle and wind dropped. Still planed but slid out on some gybes. 32cm would be about right. Good fun.Went into watchScotland beat Japan. |
